You're not a character in Hole Arena. You're a hole. Your whole job is to slide around and swallow stuff, get bigger, and swallow bigger stuff. That's it, and it shouldn't be as moreish as it is.

What Is Hole Arena?

Hole Arena — a hole swallowing objects and growing larger

It's an arcade game where you control a hole moving around a map. Anything smaller than you falls in and makes you bigger. Start off barely large enough to eat a fence post, work your way up to swallowing cars, then buildings, then rival holes smaller than you. The catch: bigger holes can swallow you right back.

It's the same don't-stop-growing loop that makes this whole genre stupidly addictive. There's always something just slightly too big to eat yet, so you keep circling, hoovering up the small stuff, until suddenly you can eat the thing, and then you want the next thing. A feeding frenzy with no brakes.

How to Play

Eat anything that fits

Roll your hole over objects smaller than you. They drop in, you grow. The more you eat, the bigger you get, and the bigger the stuff you can eat next. A positive feedback loop with teeth.

Pick on someone your own size (or smaller)

Other holes are fair game if they're smaller than you — swallow them and you remove a rival AND grow. But if they're bigger than you, they're hunting you. The whole map is a constant size check.

Run from the big ones

A bigger hole rolling your way is a clock ticking. Get distance, stuff yourself on whatever's nearby until you're the bigger one, then turn the tables. Standing your ground against something that can eat you is just suicide with extra steps.

Tips

Start dense

The early game is a scramble to not be the smallest. Find clusters of small objects — furniture, debris, whatever's around — and vacuum them up fast. The first one to medium size starts snowballing, and you want to be that one.

Ride the edge of bigger holes

You want to be near larger holes (to eat what they miss, or to ambush them once you outgrow them) but never in their mouth. Skirt the edge of their range. One wrong roll and you're lunch.

Cut off smaller rivals

When you're chasing a smaller hole, don't follow directly — predict where they're heading and cut the angle off. They can't go through you (you'd eat them), so you shrink their options until there's nowhere to run.

FAQ

Is Hole Arena free?

Yeah, free in the browser, no download.

Is this like Hole.io?

Same idea, same DNA. You're a hole, you eat stuff, you grow, you try to out-eat everyone else. If you've played any game in this family, you know exactly what this is.

Can you actually lose?

Yes — if a bigger hole swallows you, that's it. The tension is the constant size comparison with everyone else on the map. You're never safe until you're the biggest thing left.

How long is a round?

Short and punchy. You spawn small, scramble to grow, and either end up dominating or getting eaten. A few minutes a pop, easy to replay endlessly.
