Stumble Race is a footrace where simply staying upright is most of the challenge. You're a wobbly physics character trying to get through a course that's actively trying to knock you flat. Get up. Keep moving. Try not to come last.

What Is Stumble Race?

Stumble Race — wobbly characters stumbling through an obstacle course

A physics obstacle racing game. Wobbly competitors stagger through chaotic courses packed with traps — swinging hammers, moving platforms, surprise gaps, spinning things. Stay on your feet, get past the hazards, and reach the finish before the rest of the field. Sounds simple until the first hammer sends you tumbling and three people run past while you're getting up.

It's in that battle-royale-of-clumsy-bodies family where the comedy writes itself. Half the race is recovering from your own stumbles, and the other half is capitalizing on everyone else's. You don't need to be the fastest — you need to be the last one still standing.

How to Play

Run, jump, time it

Move through the course, jumping and timing your way past each obstacle. The hazards have rhythms — a hammer swings on a cycle, a platform moves on a loop — and you're trying to slip through the gaps.

When you fall, get up fast

You will fall. A lot. The race isn't lost by falling, it's lost by staying down. The faster you recover and get moving again, the less ground you bleed.

Beat the field, not the clock

It's about crossing the finish before the other wobblers, not about a time trial. Sometimes that means playing it safe and letting the reckless players get hammered in front of you.

Tips

Wait for the gap, don't force it

Moving obstacles have a rhythm. Wait for the opening instead of bull-rushing through and hoping. The players who charge in are the ones lying on the floor when you stroll past.

Take the inside line

On corners and curved sections, the inside line saves real distance over a whole race. Hug the inside where you can — it adds up across a full course.

Falling is free, staying down isn't

A quick fall and recovery costs a second. Lying there costs you the race. The instant you hit the ground, be getting back up and moving.

Let others test the hazards

If you're unsure about a section, hang back half a second and let someone else go first. Watch where they get hit, then take the safe line. Cruel? A little. Effective? Very.

FAQ

Is Stumble Race free?

Yeah, free in the browser, no download.

Is it multiplayer?

It's a race against a field of competitors — the chaos comes from everyone stumbling around the same course at once. Whether they're live players or bots depends on the build, but either way the course is plenty hostile on its own.

Is it hard to control?

The controls are simple; the physics are the challenge. Your character wobbles, trips, and gets knocked around, so even moving in a straight line takes effort. That's the joke.

How long is a race?

Short. A few minutes start to finish, which makes it perfect for "just one more" — and then suddenly it's been an hour.
